The RAF Drag Chain (DC) Series dust collector series is a highly effective self-cleaning baghouse designed to handle high dust volumes and high air volumes. They are designed for continuous operation and work efficiently by automatically cleaning the filter bags while running. The RAF-DC is the industry standard for dust extraction systems.
The RAF-DC Series typically service from 20-500,000m3/hour on high dust load applications. These applications can include timber processing plants, banks of moulders; sawmills, food processing or large manufacturing plants.
Each dust collector module is fitted with a combined inspection and explosion relief door. A safety switch ensures automatic shutdown in case of emergency.
The RAF-DC dust extraction system has dedicated inlet modules for multiple fans, allowing you to run separate and independent ducting systems on the same unit at a low cost.
The medium/large particles are separated in the filter inlet chamber, drop into the hopper, and the air is afterwards distributed to the filter bags. The collected material at the hopper is conveyed via the heavy-duty drag chain to the rotary valve and discharged – typically to a silo, container or separate material transport system.
The RAF-DC dust extraction system comes standard with Rotary Valve for continuous operation, a Variable Speed Drive for low running cost, the patented XT15 antistatic filter socks and an on-line PLC controlled reverse air cleaning system.
The option to run multiple fans on the same system allows you to control individual sections of your production independently. Multiple mid-size fans can offer advantages over a single larger fan.
The RAF-DC Series is modular by design and the system can easily be extended if your extraction requirements increase in the future.
