Description
EZ Shred 13 Industrial Timber Shredder
The EZ Shred 13 Industrial Timber Shredder is designed for demanding wood processing operations generating larger wood blocks, offcuts and production waste.
Its heavy-duty configuration combines a 1.5 m³ hopper with a 368 mm diameter, 1300 mm long rotor and 30–45 kW motor. This makes the EZ Shred 13 particularly suited to industrial operations requiring a larger and more powerful shredding system than the smaller EZ Series models.
Built for Larger Wood Waste
The EZ Shred 13 is designed to process larger wood waste and production offcuts into smaller, more manageable material.
A large 1300 × 1200 mm hopper opening provides space for feeding bulky material, while the 1300 mm rotor uses 30 × 30 mm concave headed cutters to process material through the shredder.
Reducing bulky timber waste can make the material easier to store, transport and manage while also preparing it for suitable downstream recycling or recovery processes.
Control the Final Material Size
Interchangeable screens allow the shredded output to be adapted to different applications and downstream processes.
Common configurations include:
- 10/12 mm – commonly used when preparing material for briquetting
- 16/20 mm – commonly used for chipboard and MDF
- 20/25 mm – commonly used for pine offcuts
- Other screen sizes are available depending on the required throughput and final material size.
Actual throughput will vary depending on the material composition and screen size selected.
Industrial Shredding Control
The EZ Shred 13 uses electronic PLC control, with controls housed within an IP44 control cabinet.
Rotor speed is 60–100 rpm, providing controlled processing through the cutting system. With a machine weight of approximately 3200 kg and motor options from 30–45 kW, the EZ Shred 13 is designed for demanding industrial timber waste applications.
