Description
EZ Shred 10 Heavy Duty Wood Shredder
The EZ Shred 10 Heavy Duty Wood Shredder is designed for industrial woodworking and timber processing operations generating larger volumes of wood offcuts and production waste.
With a 22 kW drive, 1.2 m³ hopper and 1000 mm rotor, the EZ Shred 10 provides increased processing capacity compared with the smaller EZ Shred 6 and EZ Shred 8 models.
Approximate throughput is 4–5 m³/hr or 12–16 m³/day of loose wood offcuts, making the EZ Shred 10 well suited to operations where wood waste is generated consistently throughout the working day.
High Throughput Wood Waste Processing
Large volumes of loose timber offcuts can quickly consume valuable floor and storage space and increase the amount of material that needs to be handled or removed from site.
The EZ Shred 10 processes bulky wood offcuts into smaller, more manageable material, helping reduce waste volume and simplify downstream storage, handling and resource recovery.
Across the EZ Series, shredding can reduce waste volume by up to 70%, depending on the material and application.
V-Rotor Shredding Technology
The EZ Series uses an aggressive V-rotor design developed for effective material intake, high throughput and reduced knife wear.
Large, slow-moving rotors work with hardened, replaceable cutting knives to process wood waste reliably in demanding industrial environments.
The EZ Shred 10 features a 250 mm diameter rotor with a 1000 mm rotor length, providing greater processing width than the EZ Shred 6 and EZ Shred 8.
Designed for Higher Wood Waste Volumes
The EZ Shred 10 is suited to joineries, furniture manufacturers, timber processing facilities and other industrial woodworking operations producing higher volumes of loose wood offcuts.
For businesses generating smaller volumes, the EZ Shred 6 and EZ Shred 8 provide more compact alternatives. For more demanding applications involving larger wood blocks, the heavy-duty EZ Shred 13 provides a larger hopper, rotor and motor configuration.
