RAF-1M Reverse Airflow Dust Collector

$0.00

The RAF-1M Reverse Airflow Dust Collector is designed for medium-sized air flows with large material concentrations and typically handles air volumes from 12,000-16,000m3/h.

1 Regen Fan = 12,000 m3/h
2 Regen Fans = 16,000 m3/h

Its superior performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness has been proven in more installations than any other brand. Airtight’s RAF series has earned its reputation in the field and is the ‘go to’ solution for Australia’s largest manufacturers.

Modular by design the RAF series can be extended as your business and filter requirements grow – futureproofing your investment!

Description

RAF-1M Reverse Airflow Dust Collector

The RAF-1M Reverse Airflow Dust Collector provides automatic filter cleaning for woodworking, timber processing and suitable industrial dust extraction applications.

As part of Airtight Solutions’ modular RAF-Series Dust Collectors, the RAF-1M uses reverse airflow to clean the filter bags during operation, helping maintain filtration performance without the regular shutdown periods associated with conventional mechanical shaker cleaning.

Its modular design also provides flexibility for businesses whose dust extraction requirements may change as production grows.

Automatic Reverse Air Filter Cleaning

The RAF-1M uses a reverse air cleaning system to remove accumulated dust from the filter media.

During cleaning, airflow is reversed through the filter bags to dislodge collected material, allowing it to fall into the discharge section below.

This cleaning process can occur while the dust extraction system continues operating, making reverse air filtration particularly useful for production environments where extended operating periods are required.

Continuous Dust Collection & Material Discharge

Dust collection doesn’t stop at filtration. Collected material also needs to be efficiently removed from the collector.

The RAF-Series can incorporate continuous material discharge, allowing collected dust and waste to be transferred from the filter into the site’s downstream collection or material handling system.

This makes the RAF-1M suitable for businesses looking for a more automated dust collection arrangement than smaller manually emptied systems.

Modular Dust Collection

One of the key advantages of the RAF-Series Dust Collectors is its modular construction.

The RAF-1M provides an entry point into the range for facilities requiring reverse-air filtration without immediately moving to the larger RAF configurations.

As production requirements change, the modular RAF design provides greater flexibility to accommodate increasing extraction requirements.

This can be particularly valuable for growing woodworking and manufacturing businesses where additional machinery may be added over time.

Woodworking & Timber Dust Extraction

The RAF-1M can form part of a centralised wood dust extraction system serving multiple pieces of production equipment.

Typical applications can include:

  • Joineries and cabinet makers
  • Furniture manufacturing
  • Kitchen manufacturing
  • Timber processing
  • Wood product manufacturing
  • CNC machinery
  • Panel saws
  • Edgebanders
  • Suitable woodworking machinery
  • Paper processing applications

The appropriate collector and system configuration should be determined by the dust characteristics, required airflow, machinery and number of extraction points operating simultaneously.
