Description
Ducting Bends
Airtight Bends are designed to change the direction of airflow within industrial dust collection systems.
Used throughout ductwork layouts, bends allow extraction lines to be routed around machinery, building structures and other equipment while maintaining a continuous path towards the dust collector.
Available in a range of angles and sizes, ducting bends can be combined with straight duct, branches, reducers and other fittings to create a complete modular ducting system.
Change Direction Within the Ducting System
Industrial dust extraction ductwork rarely runs in a completely straight line. Ducting often needs to change direction to connect extraction points, navigate around equipment or transition between horizontal and vertical duct runs.
Bends provide these directional changes while maintaining a smooth internal airflow path through the ductwork.
The angle, radius and diameter of each bend should be considered as part of the overall system design, particularly where multiple directional changes are required.
Designed for Industrial Dust Extraction
Ducting bends can be used throughout dust extraction and dust collection systems, from individual machine connections through to larger main duct runs leading towards the dust collector.
Selecting the appropriate duct diameter, bend configuration and system layout helps maintain the airflow required to transport dust and particulate through the ductwork.
Airtight Solutions can assist with ducting layouts for new installations as well as modifications and extensions to existing extraction systems.
Part of a Complete Modular Ducting System
Airtight Solutions supplies a comprehensive range of modular ducting and fittings for industrial dust extraction, dust collection, fume extraction and industrial ventilation systems.
Our range includes straight duct, bends, branch pieces, Y branches, reducing cones, dampers, hose adaptors and other fittings required to build a complete industrial ducting system.
Whether you need individual ducting components or a complete dust extraction system, Airtight Solutions can assist with system design, equipment selection, ducting and installation.
